Heartfire Collective is a collection of local freelance artists in the beauty industry with over 10 years’ experience in personalised hair styling, hair fashion events & bridal hair styling. We offer the best service for your hair & lifestyle, including all hair styling services, colours, lightening and keratin treatments. As well as loving your hair, we love our community and getting to know you, sharing in all of life’s precious moments.
We pride ourselves on being hairstylists to the yogi queens, surf goddesses, mummas & bubs, local-entrepreneurs, and a growing number of Byron Brides. We also cater to the guys who would like a little off the back & sides. We have had the privilege of collaborating with brands like Spell, Three Blue Ducks, and Loreal for Splendour in the Grass.
Our versatile private studio is well established as Byron’s hairstyling sanctuary and nourishing space. We also hold intimate wellness events and workshops, making sure you’re always looking after yourself!

Amy Perkins, Founder
With over 10 years in the Hairstyling Industry working for one of Brisbane’s award winning best salons and travelling the globe – scissors in hand, Amy moved to Byron Bay four years ago chasing the ocean and lifestyle. Combining her degree in Business and Certificate in Hairdressing, Amy combined forces with her best gal pal, Jay to create Heartfire Collective, for the love of it.
Being of service is something Amy holds closely to her heart. Through Amy’s own healing journey she shares in her work her love for living your best life and feeling good and is passionate about providing that extra special TLC to her guests. Amy is well known for her touch and incorporating holistic practices into her hair styling services. Her signature style is natural lived in colour, low maintenance with maximum care. Functional styles, healthy hair and a whole lot of love.
Amy enjoys combining her three passions – hair, yoga and healing – in a truly holistic service for her clients. Above all, she values connecting with her clients, to assist them in honouring personal growth and moments in time through their hair journeys.
